Lee Hunter, SLHI Trustee (1987-2012) and former SLHI Chair. Lee is presently a co-director of a First Things First grant through Pilgrim Rest Foundation called KidsWatchAZ. Formerly Community Development Manager for the Southwest Institute for Families and Children, she has worked for over 32 years helping individuals and families with special needs. Lee facilitated the formation of eleven parent-led Community Action Teams across Arizona, co-founded the Arizona Infant Mental Health Institute, and is a staff consultant for many other organizations and agencies that provide services for families and individuals with special needs.
