Vanessa Nelson Hill, PhD, RN, is a Clinical Associate Professor with the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University with her PhD in Public Administration and Policy. She also volunteers with the Black Nurses Association of Phoenix where she is co-director of the Heart and Soul Cardiovascular and Lung Disease Project. In addition, Ms. Nelson Hill is past-President of the Arizona Public Health Association and immediate past President of the Black Nurses Association-Greater Phoenix area.
