The Pandemic Fiscal Year
At the beginning of the Fiscal Year (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021), we found ourselves in the middle of the pandemic, with no end in sight. Nobody could have predicted that this was to become our new normal. Despite the challenges, it did not deter our work and, in fact, made us more determined to help the communities we serve.
While this strange and unprecedented year called into question basic office practices, it brought out new and creative ideas and ways of thinking. We vowed to continue our work with our community partners and collaborations across the state, while adhering to safety protocols and precautions to avoid further spread of the virus.
We learned that the new normal was to work collectively, collaboratively, consciously, and creatively to further our goals and mission, a way that has always and continues to work well for us.
The Annual Report outlines the work and progress that was accomplished this fiscal year as part of our 5 goals:
- Access to Care and Coverage
- Healthy Community Design
- Community Capacity Building
- Collaborations and Grantmaking
- Civic Health
- Financials
