Strategic Roadmap Refresh
Strategic Roadmap Refresh
In 2018, Vitalyst embarked on a strategic planning process which resulted in the development of short- and long-term goals to guide our programmatic work. The original Strategic Roadmap included five goals to guide Vitalyst’s work.
The COVID-19 pandemic made us rethink our strategic direction and allowed us to learn from the way the health equity grants were distributed and evaluated. We sought out feedback from our partners through convenings and surveys to make sure our strategic update was something our partners would champion. By holding an equity lens on issues like food, housing, access to care, and economic opportunity – among other elements of a healthy community – we ensured that community health and safety were at the forefront of the work done by our partners. Our mission, values, and ingredients for change remain the same.
Our goals have been updated and are now creating collaborative networks working to improve the conditions that impact health; strengthening our partners so they are equipped to advance health equity; and informing decision-makers to ensure community health and well-being are prioritized.
Below are Vitalyst’s goals and priorities are explained. If there are any questions, email us at info@vitalysthealth.org or connect with Vitalyst Staff.
